While Blinkit’s delivery promises of under 10 minutes were already swaying consumers, the expansion of product lineups has further taken it a notch up. It’s like all things urgent under one roof. 

Food tech brands like Zomato and Swiggy are evolving beyond mere food delivery services. These platforms now offer integrated dining solutions, such as restaurant bookings and discounts, creating a holistic dining ecosystem. The love affair of customers with these platforms has evolved for the better as it not only caters to the urbanite's craving for convenience and variety but also supports local restaurants by boosting foot traffic, thereby benefiting all stakeholders involved.

WhatsApp's ascent from 12th to 3rd and Google's rise from 28th to 19th in brand rankings (compared to the previous year) highlight the shifting digital terrain. WhatsApp has transcended its original messaging and international calling features to include payment solutions and Channels, positioning it as a cost-effective platform for essential updates and activities. Brands are also leveraging the platform for customer service, discounts, special announcements, and delivery updates.  

Urban India has also emerged as a fertile ground for luxury and high-tech brands. Apple, which recently climbed the ranks to become a more dominant brand, and Samsung are particularly noteworthy, with their premium products symbolizing not just utility but also status and modernity.
