This digital leap forward is further powering a push towards self-development, wherein individuals spanning all age groups are indulging in something or the other. Surprisingly, Gen X is more indulged in in-person classes and academic programmes; attributes more pronounced among men, while women follow closely.

Furthermore, we see sustainability efforts, especially in water and electricity conservation, a motto that’s become a common talk among the affluent and upper-age brackets, underlining a lifestyle devoted to eco-friendliness.

The snack game is changing, with Namkeen gaining affinity, challenging the long-reigning biscuit as a favoured munch, hinting at evolving tastes and the growing penetration of packaged foods, although it’s at a very nascent stage, unlike in the urban.

Talking about age-specific trends, among Millennials, the rise of baby food sales whispers tales of budding families, while the grab-and-go allure of ready-to-eat meals speaks volumes of their race against the clock in search of convenience. Leading the digital domain is Gen Z, as vibrant as their personality, fond of experimenting with their culinary choices, favouring everything from carbonated drinks to noodles, juices, and biscuits.
